Used Prevx1 for trial period and attempted to uninstall after it ended. Ive tried everything. I tried Prevx uninstaller to no avail....I keep getting Prevx fatal error leaving the following log file in C:\WINNT:
23.06.2007/13:34:02: Session launched
23.06.2007/13:34:02: Logfile : C:\WINNT\pxinstall_log.txt

23.06.2007/13:34:05: OSName: Microsoft Windows XP OSLevel: ProfessionalOSVersion: Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
Next I tried through Add-Remove programs...still I get the same error. Then I tried through the Prevx Cleanup\Removal Tool. Again, I still get the same problem. Then I tried through Command prompt using the command "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Prevx\PXSetup.exe" ACTION=UNINSTALL -V -REBOOT -APP...Now I get an error saying that MSVCR80.dll cannot be found.
Well then I figured since I hadnt had a net connection in awhile, I updated Prevx and that installed Prevx 2.0...Now ive tried all of those methods again, and still have no luck, but now during the normal uninstall, I just get a "Windows has encountered an error and needs to be closed" Message...
anyone have any ideas?

You have to shutdown Prevx first.
Check if pxagent and pxconsole are no longer running in taskmanager.
Then uninstall Prevx.
If that fails.
Start in safe mode.
Shutdown Prevx.
Check if pxagent and pxconsole are no longer active.
Uninstall.
