Hi
(My english is bad)
I think that it would be very useful to add the function of pop up main windows on new mail arrival.
Isn't this?
Cordially,
Daniel

I agree with Daniel. I get time-sensitive mail throughtout the day and would love to get new-mail notification, preferably through an icon in my System Tray.

When I get new mail, the MWP icon in my tray starts to blink, unless MWP thinks it is spam.
Are you saying you want the MWP window to open up? I would find that very annoying if I were typing fast and suddenly was typing into a different window.
Also, many MWP users are also using Complainterator (complainterator.com), an automated spam reporting tool. It looks up spamvertised sites' registrars and composes emails to them by simulating mouse and keyboard commands. If your MWP window opened up while it was running -- meaning those commands would then be executed on MWP instead of your browser and mail program -- that could have undesired effects, like telling it to delete your emails.

I hope that I am not misinterpreting this thread.
I would not be looking for MW to open with new legitimate email but, when I am away from the computer, it might be handy to have a larger blinking window that would be easier to see from a distance than the blinking icon in the notification area.
I do leave the computer performing a task and would like to be able to determine from a distance that new email has arrived. In the past I have used sound cues but the cues often get caught up in audio recordings in progress.
This is really a very small point. Mailwasher has been a real godsend with respect to handling the reams of spam coming out the pipe.
Cheers,
Inky
