I'm having a problem with the latest (6.0.4) version of MWP running via Wine on Kubuntu 7.04.
I have two users (besides myself) for which I have installed Wine & MWP. I have used both 5.3 and 6.0 (and 6.0.4 beta). After a fresh install (including the deletion of the Mailwasher Pro profile), I get one or two good starts for MWP. After that, it starts and runs in the background -- but never get the GUI to show the email or give an indication it is working.
Anyone have a similar problem or possible cause/solution?

While I do not have the problem that you describe, I can only guess that the cause could be something to do with Wine or KDE and not MWP.
MWP 5.3 and 6.0 both worked fine for me in Ubuntu 6.06 using Crossover 6.0,6.1 and 6.2.
Please note that my comments are not intended as a slight on either Wine or KDE.
One further point - are you running Kubuntu 64bit?

I'm thinking it's the Wine implementation. But I can't nail it down. No, I'm not using the 64bit version (too much trouble getting software to work with it).
