I am trying to spiff things up a bit and get my XP Pro and hard drive back to a clean machine state. I ran across RegistryBooster at uniblue and am tempted to run it.

Should I succumb to my temptations - i.e. is it a good thing to run or is it going to create a whole other set of problems for me?

Recommendations appreciated.

Hi Smile

I haven't tried that program, but if you want a good registry optimizer, you should try NTREGOPT. You can download it here : http://www.derfisch.de/lars/ntregopt-setup.exe

Real easy to use and quite effective.

Thanks!

I see that was also recommended here in some sticky's on slow machines - see PC Bruiser's write up at
