Updates for Ad-aware SE Personal ended at the end of December 2007, but updates are still available for Ad-Aware SE for manual download (viz. SE1R211 02.01.2008 and SE1R212 07.01.2008) See the following discussion on the Lavasoft forums:

I have just downloaded the SE1R212 07.01.2008 updates with no problems. There is no indication as to how long Lavasoft will keep making these updates available.

Hi, Blacklupine. As long as Lavasoft has licensed Corporate (Enterprise) Customers unable to use the Ad-Aware 2007, they will likely continue to provide updates for their Plus and Pro customers. As long as you have access to the download link, you can continue updating SE, regardless of the version.

"Back when", I had all three versions of AAW SE on my machine and kept the Defs in the folder for AAW Personal. I just pointed to that path with Plus & Pro.

Hi Corrine, Hope you are well. It's good news for those that are unhappy with 2007 or unable to migrate to it and wish to continue to use AAW SE.

Lavasoft had (as you are aware) stated that they would not be making updates available after December 2007 but did not advertise the fact, not surprisingly, that updates would be issued or indeed for how long.

For me I intend to stick with AAW SE as long as possible as it does an excellent job whilst being low on resources. Best wishes BL
