Since a couple of weeks, security sites give warnings about home banking being attacked by malware.

My experience: I am a user of firefox, and windows xp home edition, and a customer of 3 banks in Belgium.
Some weeks ago, I remarked that the Verisign cadenas of firefox was barred for the 3 banking sites, and the mouse unvealed a message in it "unauthorised content". I tried IE7 also, and there the cadenas was normal.
I phoned to one banking helpdesk, and they said to me: "we don't support firefox, and try a virusscan."

I did a scan with the freeware of avg antivirus and antimalware. Nothing apeared abnormal.

The day afterwards, the cadenas for Verisign was normal again for firefox, as for IE7.

Till now , I didn't remark something wrong in my accounts.

Finally my question: who can help me to know whether I am a victim of banking malware or not?

Thanks on the beforehand for your help....

Have a look at http://wiki.castlecops.com/MRP

After you've followed the instructions, if you are still infected or worried that you may be please make a post in CastleCops Link/f67-Hijackthis_Spyware_Viruses_Worms_Trojans_Oh_My.html and someone will help you.
