This a copy of my Avast antivirus scan which I ran tonight. I have deleted the temporary file and ran various scans and all is now clear. I assume the web page reference is the site where the malware in the temporary file came from.

05/02/2008 22:55:47 SYSTEM 1100 Sign of "VBS:Malware-gen" has been found in "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\SZATCEX3\200506232138432[1].htm" file.

The detection may have been a false positive or an over eager heuristic detection.

Thanks for your reply tetak I went through the MRP before posting and nothing else was found so as you say it could have been a false positive, my only concern was the reference to "http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200506232138432.html" as I have never seen a reference to a specific address before on a scan result.
