Starting MSIE, I ge the following error message:

cannot find '::{2559A1F4-21D7-11D4-BDAF-00C04F60B9F0
Google search result followed and using regedit, I located, b/u folder, & then del the following reg entry in:HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\shell lextensions\approvedshell:
2559a1f4-21d7-11d4-bdaf-00c04f60b9f0=internet
did not cure problem, so I restored .reg folder.
Can someone offer help?

The best thing to do is to follow this http://wiki.castlecops.com/MRP

After following the link above if you think you may still be infected with malware please post a Hijackthis log in this forum.

I'd also suggest you install Windows Defender (if you use Windows XP), which is free and is available from http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
