Hi,

On many downloading sites, clicking a download link uses a timed redirect, like for example on MajorGeeks, click the "Download Latest Version" opens the download page, and adds a timed redirect to the file.

Example : http://www.filehippo.com/download_foobar2000/

I would like to enable this feature only for certain files eg. .RAR .ZIP .EXE

Could I do this by altering a filter, and could this give negative consecquention ?

TIA!

You can add entries to below section in IncludeExclude-U.ptxt to bypass the filters
Code:

#      2.8  REDIRECTS

I think over 90% of the files from download sites are RAR|ZIP|EXE type. If you enable this feature for those files, you enable it for nearly all files so I don't think it make sense. Therefore, bypassing some sites from those filters as above mentioned might be better Very Happy

Sure, you can do it if you are skilled enough. I am sorry so far I couldn't help because I haven't the skill yet. Embarassed Very Happy
