Hey,

Just trying to help my brother out. He's having a problem with his computer where when he logs onto msn he sends out links.. I posted them in the malware links portion CastleCops Link/t216580-MSN_Sending_links.html didn't think that was the place to get help but to post the links. But anyway, those links send out, then sometimes it'll say "bye Wink". I haven't clicked it, but I"m sure others have.. and if anyone knows how to fix this I'd really appreciate some help. I did try to run adaware, spybot, hijack, and then deleted his msn entirely and reinstalled.. so.. what else can be done?

Thanks.

The Malware Removal and Prevention procedure was developed by CastleCops Staff to assist folks who are having problems dealing with malware and/or who want to prevent (re)occurrence of malware issues.

Follow the steps there, and please let us know if this solved your problems.

In the event that your problems persist, the procedure explains how to get assistance at CastleCops with the use of Hijack This logs.

Sorry should have said those programs I ran, were steps from that. I follow that list religiously when it comes to computer problems and it usually resolves whatever it is. But, this didn't work this time around. He had something called double click and also something else that I can't remember but have seen on other computers before that haven't done this thing. I'm assuming that double click, whatever it is, is what's doing it? Or maybe it's something else. I did fix the problems and ran adaware and only found small things like m3u tracking cookies and not much else. I'll get him to run a hijack log and post to this message.

There's some information about Double Click here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DoubleClick

When he gets his HijackThis log he needs to post it here CastleCops Link/f67-Hijackthis_Spyware_Viruses_Worms_Trojans_Oh_My.html
