This is my first post on CastleCops ; )

I am fed up with spam and used the Windows of version of Complainterator for a while. I realized I could write an Applescript that basically did the same thing only faster. So I did. I started in January and have an alpha version that I need a few folks to start testing and giving feedback on.

I am hesitant to share all my applescript code , so I intend to distribute a compiled script that can be run from the AppleScript menu for now. My hope is that there are a handful of folks willing to give me some constructive feedback on what I've done so far.

I am not a Applescripter by trade, but I've found the language intuitive and very easy to pick up. If you are an expert in Applescript and want to help develop the code, then I might be open to working together.

I should have something I can distribute by the end of the week.

Oh, I don't have the official nod from the folks that have done the Windows version, but I have contacted them and they seemed excited someone was writing a Mac version. For now, my script is simply called "Spam Reporter - Alpha" ; )

Great that you are extending the tool to other platforms. I cannot help you with testing, as I don't use Mac, but I am sure that there are some people around who do.

Pre-release screen shots look good.

I hope this will fill the gap and serve as the answer to all those good Mac folks who kept requesting a Mac version from the author.
