Hello reaperboyx,
I will assist you in resolving the malware issues. First, I'll have you cleanup temporary files, and get some diagnostic reports. Just a bit later, we will proceed to knockout the malware.
These steps are for /this/ forum member only. If you are a lurker, do NOT try this on your system!
If at any point you have a question or problem, STOP & make a new post to this thread amd await my reply.
Also, do not run or start any other programs while these utilities and tools are in use!
Please do NOT run any other tools on your own or do any fixes other than what is listed here, unless you are directed to do so by a forum moderator or forum admin.
Also, have plenty of patience while each utility program is running.Do the following first steps:
1. Set Windows to show all files and all folders.
Bring up Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options/ select VIEW Tab and look at all of settings listed.
"CHECK" (turn on) Display the contents of system folders.
Under column, Hidden files and folders----choose ( *select* ) Show hidden files and folders.
Next, un-check Hide extensions for known file types.
Next un-check Hide protected operating system files.
2. Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune, saving it to your desktop. It is used to cleanout temporary files & temp areas used by internet browsers.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 and Vista only
- Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
- Under Main choose: Select All
- Click the Empty Selected button.
- If you use Firefox browser:
- Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
- Click the Empty Selected button.
- NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
- If you use Opera browser:
- Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
- Click the Empty Selected button.
- NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
- Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
:hand: ATF-Cleaner should be run per the above in every User Profile
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.
=
3. Please download & save Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from Here or Here
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.- Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
- If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
- Once the program has loaded, select Perform Quick Scan, then click Scan.
- The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
- When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
- Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
- When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
- The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
- Copy & Paste the entire report in a new reply as soon as it has finished.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
=
4. Go here and download Silent Runners.vbs (use IE to download it) to a new folder on your drive and run it. It generates a log too. It takes a minute or two and it will notify you with a popup when your log is ready (it will be in the new folder you created). Please post the information back in this thread. If your AV queries the script, allow it to run. It's not malicious.
In a reply to this thread, please post (in order):- a (new) HijackThis log;
- the Silent Runners report.
There will be more to do, after your reports are reviewed. _________________ ~Maurice Naggar

In addition to the malware noted by MBAM, you also have an IE Defender infection. Please consider & treat this pc as needing quarantine. Do not do any free-wheeling web surfing; only go to this forum & websites that I guide you to. Do not run any programs other than what I ask you to. And please be prompt in doing the suggestions here and be timely in replying back.
Visit Malwareteks.com for the IE Defender fix.
Go to http://www.malwareteks.com/FixIEDef.php
Scroll down to bottom of the page. See sections marked Instructions. Follow the instructions.

This pc needs the latest version of Java runtime.
In Windows Explorer, navigate to and delete C:\Program Files\Java <=this folder, if found. :hand: Do NOT delete C:\Program Files\JavaVM <=this folder, if found! Open an IE window and go to http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp > In the middle of the page, click on the Download button to the right of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6 > If Information Bar pop-ups up, right-click on it and say it's OK to display the blocked content; :hand: You do not have to install the Java Web Start ActiveX Control > Accept the license agreement > Click on Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language and Save the file jre-6u6-windows-i586-p.exe to your desktop; do not Run it.
When the download is complete, close all browser windows and double-click on the saved file to install the update.- Tip: Choose Custom install to select only the part(s) you need/want.
Delete the downloaded installation file after completing the above procedure and reboot if prompted to do so.
If you were /not/ prompted to reboot, please do so now.

When you are at a stopping point, install the Recovery Console before we go further.
Make sure you close any of your programs that are running before you begin, and do NOT start or do other tasks while this is being done.
Delete any prior copies of ComboFix that you may have. It is important to always get the latest version.
Start with installing the Recovery Console and ComboFix.exe. Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running the tool:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.
The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.
Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says:
The Recovery Console was successfully installed.
Please continue as follows:
- Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
- Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.
When the CF is finished, it will produce a report for you.
Re-enable your antivirus app & anti-malware apps.
Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleaning the system:
C:\ComboFix.txt
