seems the US theme has changed as well...
i'll see if i can find an "easy" fix, some of these .css-fixes are "over my head", but i'll take a stab and see what i can come up with (it most likely won't be 'til Saturday, though)...

still in-process, but let's try this one on for size...
mileage may vary...
| Code: | Name = "Google: Enhance Google 20070202 [jjoe] - [ProxFox Mod 3.19.08] WIP"
Active = TRUE
Multi = TRUE
URL = "www.google."
Bounds = "<div*</div>"
Limit = 2048
Match = "(<div class=g>$SET(5=class="parent")|<div class=g style="margin-left:2.5em;">$SET(5=class="child"))"
" \0"
" ( <br> | <table border=0 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0> <tr> <td class=$AV(j( hc|)) * > ) <div class=std> "
"( \2 )"
"&"
"($TST(ddtools=1)$SET(ddt="
"<dd class="links">\3 </dd>\r\n"
""
"<dd class="tools">\4</dd>\r\n"
""
"<dd class="url"><span class="url">\2</span></dd>\r\n)"
"|"
"$SET(ddt=<dd class="url"><span class="url">\2</span><span class="glinks">\3 <br>\4 </span></dd>\r\n)"
")"
Replace = "$SET(ER=1)"
"<dl \5>\r\n"
""
"<dt>\0</dt>\r\n"
""
"\6"
""
"<dd class="preview"></dd>\r\n"
""
"<dd class="description">\1</dd>\r\n"
""
"$GET(ddt)"
""
"</dl>\r\n"
""
"\r\n" |
i had to "break" the pdf/doc/xls "View As" feature, i'll work more on it later, but at least the above gets us rolling with our personal preference themes...
keep me posted as to any glitches...
edit: changed "<div class=sml>" to "<div class=std>"...

i'm actually using it within sidki's config...
there are a total of nine filters that you need to add
1) Google: Mark Results
2) Google: Insert Style & Functions 20070202 [Mod.Ver] [Grypen]
3) Google: Insert Advanced Links 20070202 [jjoe]
4) . + Thumbnails
5) . + Preview Links
6) Google: Enhance Google 20070202 [jjoe] - [ProxFox Mod 3.15.08] WIP
7) . > Small Theme [David_1cog]
8) . + Color Results
9) . + Site Tools 20070202 [jjoe]
there are some other "theme" filters out there, but i only use the David_1cog small theme, you may opt for another...
to use the above "conglomerate", you need to disable sidki's "Google Search: Alternate Display 7.10.30 (multi) [sd] (d.s)"...
then add all-of-the-above...
i have them all added at the very bottom...
hth...

the above filters only make cosmetic enhancements, they don't block sponsored links or such...
i'm thinkin' someone else posted a sponsored links filter a few days ago, one moment, searching, here, try this -

It's strange that the google theme doesn't change here...
Maybe google is still experimenting it and we should wait for the change finally spread to the world before trying to fix the filter.

true enough, but me personally, i can't stand google's 'own' theme and hate using google without "injecting" MY theme, lol...
an easy fix, i updated the above filter post...
