Barracuda has donated hardware to CastleCops and we thank them dearly for their help (please show a large round of applause): six servers (two 2U and four 1U). All boxes are 2GB RAM, 2 CPU Dual Core, SATA 7K. 2U: Six hard drives, 3.6 GHz CPU with 3ware controller. 1U: Two hard drives, 2.8 GHz CPU with Areca controller. We are currently in the process of getting one of the 2U's online with a replaced 8GB RAM. Our current www.castlecops.com web server which operates on a single CPU (~2.4 GHz) single core 8GB RAM will migrate to this new dual-dual 2U server. I do not know how best to bring those other systems online, but we will use them as other services at CastleCops have been hibernating due to lack of horsepower. A possible path is to setup multiple www servers.
