Been using this setup for months,,,suddenly last week every so often I lose the internet,,,reset with the button and my internet is back.

First the setup would go into unsecured,,,normal then I proceed to resetup the secured key enabled

Yesterday suddenly once I bring the security with the wpa key shared as I've always done --- it says I'm connected and I'm sending signals out but not getting one single received. Something is blocking me from receiving.

I've updated and checked everything I can think of,,,disabled my firewall etc, windows updates,,,,,I'm finding nothing that is giving me a clue why this is happening.

Can someone please help. Thanks

Have you verified if your router has a new firmware upgrade available?

And perhaps it is time to change your key - Wireless keys are not invulnerable to hacking....

Admitedly I'm nervous about doing a firmware upgrade on it,,,,known so many in the past that have blown up.

Yes have switched passwords around on it, tried a few different things like channels etc.

Its really weird this.

Howdy,

Did you or a neighbor happen to get a new 2.4GHz wireless telephone or something like that? Had that problem at home after getting a new cordless phone for my office.
