Hey all you super smart computer people!

I just bought a new laptop which, of course, comes with Vista. There seems to be a crapload of programs on it already, which I probably don't want... does anyone know of a good guide which will tell me what I can delete in order to speed things up a bit? When I bought the laptop, the salesperson tried to get me to spend $150 extra to get one of their techs to remove all the useless stuff but I decided (perhaps a poor decision) that I could do most of it myself Smile

So... uh... help??? Smile

Thanks.

See http://wiki.castlecops.com/Starting_With_A_Clean_Machine . Perhaps your machine is covered? The article hasn't been worked on for a couple of years though...

The below link is something I have run across in searches before. I haven't used it because I do the job manually. I haven't seen any bad reviews on it, but I haven't researched it extensively.
