Prevx2 has appeared to break the upgrade to SP3 on my computer. Has anyone else noticed this? I got an internal error message from Prevx & the updated then failed - Prevx2 also closed. _________________ Windows Vista 32bit Business SP1 | MS ISA 2004 Firewall | Nod32 v2.70.32 | Prevx2 v1.0.2 build 127 | SpywareBlaster v4.1 | Firefox v3.01

Was the error, "Internal Error 2753 PXConsole.exe 17"? If it was, am awaiting a reply from support for answer. Upgraded to SP3 last night and the upgrade is a no go on both of my machines. _________________ Old Pat

Updated on 23th of april with the RTM SP3 german
while Prevx and Nod32 and all other programs were
shutdown. Update went through without any trouble.
After Reboot Prevx etc. came up just as every day
before. I was using build 127 back then. I really have
no problems at all with SP3 or Prevx. But maybe it
is important that you have a fresh, clean reinstall
of build 127. I never updated the builds. Who knows ..

Yep, tried that too. Dl'd the prg from Prevx site, tried to install and still no go. Hope I receive a reply from them soon. Will advise here if solution is found. Did find out tho' this build is to overcome problems w/XP SP3 and Vista SP1. Isn't working w/sp3. _________________ Old Pat

Success! Went back and instead of "repair", clicked on the "uninstall" button. It was uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted, and all is well for the 127 version! _________________ Old Pat

for what it's worth and since the little girlies continue to hide and piss their knickers with respect to Prevx2, i had no problem with Prevx2 build 127 and SP3.
not a fresh install of 127 either, probably 3 months ago. installed sp3 around a week ago, and everything is golden. in fact i just updated my pre-sp3 snapshot it's been so trouble free for me.
Comodo ver 3 which did require i disable the firewall (not D+) for some reason to get the download going (thought the rules i created were good, but...) and Prevx2 and Comodo are the only real-time security apps on this snapshot.
