hi All,

I had a little problem with the pc acting funny so I attempted to go back a few days and it won't work. No matter how far I try to go back, it says, no changes were made to your computer at this time. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

I'm using Windows XP Pro

Does it say anything else besides no changes were made at this time?

have you tried booting into Safe Mode first and then, when prompted, run System Restore?

Quite possibly the restore points have gotten corrupted.

Do you need to restore to a previous date / time?

I'd like to restore a week or so since the pc started acting up a bit.

When I try to edit the registry, I get to the last folder and theres no SYSTEM RESTORE in there, only "Terminal Services" Could that be the problem?

You mean that there is no System Restore under Windows NT? As you positive that you followed the correct chain, especially the first part - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ?

I understand some cleaning agents which allow you to delete temporary files, cookies, history etc when you close your browser and or shut down your system also include an option to delete system restore points. You don't have one of these by any chance where you may have "ticked" the option to delete restore points.
