There is an incompatibility between AVG8 and SpywareBlaster.

SpywareBlaster inserts dummy registry entries to block spyware.
AVG8 picks these up and flags them as alerts in red.

AVG says that this problem cannot be solved, but it was not a problem in previous AVG versions.

My work-around for this is to delete the entries that AVG8 flags - rather than go through 190 entries to see if any alerts are genuine. (Better safe than sorry)

I then fire up SpywareBlaster and re-enable the unprotected items.

These are all IE ActiveX controls, and since I use Firefox it is not a problem, just a nuisance.

I hope this helps somebody.
