I have no idea why this happened.

I was just online and my laptop was being all slow while I was surfing the net, so I decided to restart it. When I restarted, after the Windows XP loading screen, a blank screen with a movable cursor was there. I thought at first, it was just being slow to get to the login page. I rebooted it. Blank screen again with movable cursor. I tried CTRL+ALT+DELETE, nothing happened. I rebooted to Last Working Config and it was still the same. I rebooted to Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt and it was still the same except for the Safe Mode written on the top and bottom.

By the way, some days before this, I decided to run the MRP but didn't do the whole HiJack thing. I only did that because ever since my previous problem which I posted here, I routinely run through the whole MRP to keep my laptop Malware free.

I hope someone can help me. I don't really want to lose the files in there so I hope no one here says "reformat" lol.

I'm sorry I almost never went back to this topic as I've waited 2 weeks and no reply. Only after 15 days was there one, but I've already reformatted my computer then.
