In the past I used Realvnc to access computer systems on the Lan side of the router with great success.

Now I am with a network that has all Vista machines and a couple XP units.

I can't seem to get the Viewer to connect to the Server.

I start the Server on the server machine and can't connect thru from the Viewer machine.

Is this a vista probelm.....??

Update:

Through further research,
Realvnc does support Vista.

During install process, do not register it as a service.
you will have to uncheck the two boxes when prompted.

You will have to start the server manually through Server User mode on the server machine.

Vista stops the service.
The Viewer works great.
