I am by no means an expert. Indeed I myself am new to Linux. But I found these links particularly helpful, so if anyone else is thinking of experimenting with Linux, maybe they can be of some help to you too. Bottom line is: Ignore the propaganda, play with anything you can legally get your hands on, and use what works for you.
