C MOS and Restarting problem

hello my friends computer has been acting strange lately. here's what is goin on.

"every 8 hours of constant computer use the computer starts restarting.

and then won't start up until the next day or when theres a good electricty then the computer will start

and i get a cmos error and have to use the f8 command and go to last known good configuration all the time this happens

WHAT DO I DO TO PREVENT IT FROM RESTARTING"

Your symptoms lis indicative of CPU heating up. Do you know if all your fans are working, especially the CPU fan? What do you mean by "when there is good electricity"? Is that a power suypply problem?
