Yesterday at about 1700 I was doing some research on the Internet and a advertisement popped up on a website as they do, and then all of a sudden my screen kinda blinked and went to the Blue Screen and said something about -

0x00000050 and ras....... something then it shut off

I then rebooted to windows only to find that on my background it said "SPYWARE DETECTED LAUNCH ANTISPYWARE" something along those lines.

So I launched AVG, and found that something was using 100% of my CPU all the time, programs were opening slowly, my Internet was slow, so I decided to restore to an earlier date being yesterday, that loaded fine, reset and when it came to load windows desktop it didn't just a black screen, so I rebooted into safe mode which worked, I launched -

AVG - found nothing
Ashampoo Winoptimizer 2008
I Defragged
I used Ad-Aware
I did use Spyware doctor and that foudn a Trojan.Gaslide.B and a Possible Website Hijack but that reqired a registered version to get rid of them.

Several times I rebooted selecting Start Windows normally/ Last good Congfiguration but still the Black screen.

My spec is -
Windows CE
NVIDIA GeForce 256 MB Graphics card
3GB RAM
250gb hard drive

Something strange, i just turned my PC on and hey presto Im on desktop and its working, its not running at 100% as it did yesterday, how I do not know, I shall still run HijackThis to be sure, and start putting on the recommended anti-programs, and backup my files just in case
