I have IE6, SP2 and OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version
5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600

I have done searches and find many links referring to Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, but none that refer to when trying to copy to CDR or RW.

This is the message I keep getting and this is the error that I get: Error signature
AppVer6.0.6/26/2008 8:26:56 PM 2900.3156 and modname shdocvw.dll

Thank you Rolling Eyes

The error might be related to the information you are trying to write to the CD. See:

Thank you. I tried the link 311359 - An Invalid Page Fault Occurs in Module Shdocvw.dll When You Open My Computer or Control Panel

And it was not available.

Soon as I can will do sfc/scannow and see if that will help. Thanks much.
