Any ideas where I can obtain the update of this program?
I noticed pyrenean.com (the home page) is down, nameserver failures it looks like...
accs-net.com (or something like that, the other top google result for "DNSKong") only has the "older" version.
Any ideas/hope? :P
I've been using analogx, but it seems to not like too many dns requests and locks up every so often.

I use this DNS server on each of my systems:
http://ntcanuck.com/
Works fine, although I am not sure exactly what you are searching for. BTW, it is far better than the AnalogX one. No comparison. _________________ Don't read? Can't learn!

neat, that looks like what I need. The ability to set my ISP DNS servers in a config, so that TreeWalk can "cache" them for later use for speedier lookups.

darn, I'm out of luck Looks like it's not set up to work with Vista yet....hehehe.
Looks to be real powerful though.
But yea, just by reading the site, they seem to "know their stuff"
The analogx one is just a little caching proxy (which has it's faults....likely due to it not being "up to par" with new standards, connection, and bandwidth speeds lol).
DNSKong, last I tried it seemed alright, but even when I spoke to Pyrenean, he didn't really "code" it intending to be used for caching purposes, more for an alternative to the hosts file, blocking domains at the DNS level, rather than "one at a time" with a lengthy hosts file).
BUT, it (DNSKong) didn't have the ill-effects of "locking up" - requiring a "reconfigure"/restart of the program, for pages that contained lots of "lookups" (myspace, and nearly every other site on the Internet nowadays...pictures, graphics, flash, audio, etc. embedded everywhere lol...) which is why I was looking back towards DNSKong as an alternative since the cache atleast "worked"
Seems pyrenean.com is still having DNS issues though....
