Hi
Wow! Isn't that a long time? And I don't even have dial-up anymore! How is the site doing towards the new servers?
Thanks,
Tom

Several days ago (after the several day outage) a interim DB server that had been earmarked for another task (wiki and de server IIRC) was cobbled together but the tables have to be continually nursed along. A new DB server is being geared up within the week as I understand it.
WRT to the perf you noted, so far I have you beat with one of over 4000 seconds!

Hello Ikeb
We either have lots of patience or very little to do, to wait that long. I normally use this site a couple of times a day. Thank you for the information, we have not had much of it lately. Does anyone know how the donation drive is going? The meter seems to be stuck.
Thanks again,
Tom

Hey
This is so sad. This used to be such a great site and now it is, for the most part, useless. It makes me wonder if donating towards new servers (twice, because I believed) was a bad move on my part. I am thinking Paul must be really busy with the new job and all it entails but is there no one else who can carry on with the great work he has been doing for all these years? Not only Paul but all the others who have so unselfishly given their time to help others without any form of compensation except the feeling you get in your heart when you do good for others. It seems like all that has gone by the wayside. There really in no other place like this site.
I'm not giving up....just a little worried.
Tom
P.S. When I say Paul, I am not forgetting Robin.

From my perspective, what was once a great site has appeared to be washed up!

Don’t give up on a good thing unless you have a replacement. I do have one suggestion. While this issue is being resolved, it might be helpful if we had an alternate site just for the purpose of occasional progress reports.

There is, actually, although the site is also sometimes attacked: click here.

How did I guess that? Just didn't know the URL. Thanks for the heads-up. I haven’t visited for a while. I am glad to see the site come back though. Site functionality is much improved. Thanks for all the hard work.
