Check the Not To Me filter is not selected to take precedence over the friends list. _________________ I wish my lawn was emo, then it would cut itself

RusticDog,
I may be dense but I do not understand your answer.
The email message is addressed to me, personally, so it doesn't even qualify under the "Not to Me" criteria.
Then when I try to bypass this problem, and change the status field on the email message from "Not to Me" to Friends, I can do this.... But the next time that I get an email message from this sender, it is again marked as "Not to Me".
It seems like to me that the first issue, is why is the "Not to Me" filter flagging email, which is addressed to me?
Cheers,
SimonSays

Can you post your filter from your filters.txt file ?
Also there is a bug in current build, where not exiting Mailwasher before a reboot can cause all additions to friends list/blacklist to be lost. Make sure you exit Mailwasher manually to update teh file correctly. This issue is being addressed in the next release.

I went looking for the filters.txt file and in the process of trying to find it, I discovered that I had not configured the "Not to Me" filter. I had assumed that MailWasher knew what my valid email addresses were (based on the "accounts" information. Unfortunately, this was not a valid assumption.
However, this would be a nice feature to add in the future.
Then I discovered that what you wanted me to do was to copy and paste the information in the "Not to Me" filter.
Anyway, I think that this problem is solved. Thanks.
Cheers,
