First of all, many thanks of all the valuable info on this site. You guys are great.

I have battled fiercely over the past three weeks to erradicate a CWS hijack from my PC.

I have then downloaded many protection programs including Spywareblaster.

However, when I try to run it, I constantly have the sale Error! message:
This program has been damaged, possible by a bad sector on the hard drive, or a virus

I have installed, uninstalled, downloaded from several locations and never managed to have it run.

Any clue?

PS: I have Win XP SP1 fully patched

Never mind.

I just was not fully rid of the CWS infamy. I still had the hidden loader somewhere. Now that I have taken care of this one, Spywareblaster works cirrectly.
