I would like to recommend a new program against spyware/Trojans/Viruses; Its called MalWhere and you can find it here:

It presents the running processes on your computer and give you a short description about them. If the program doesn’t recognize a process, it queries google.com and builds a threat probability and a short description using the results. Its generic so even if there is a new threat out there that Adaware like program didn’t hear about yet, if someone wrote about it out there it will find out about it using google .
