How about adding a third group - a "superbad blacklist" so to speak. Most blacklist people I might want to personally check to make sure it is something to delete (for instance, AOL, JUNO, and other domain sources of spam that sometimes has legitimate people). However, it would be nice to have another option that would allow sources that are for sure nothing but junk to be automatically bounced and deleted by MailWasher without me having to see it. This would be the superbad blacklist that I also could control (like the other 2 lists).

What criteria would you use to determine what goes on the "superbad blacklist" ??
I always thought that the "blacklist" IS the "superbad blacklist" ! I REALLY don't see there being any basis for a division! _________________ Whirlwind ... W-H-O-O-S-H

The criteria for the superbad list would be set by the user. It would be like the bad list, just an extra option.
The primary use would be:
1) Bad list for those I want to check before deleting. This would be problem domains like juno, aol, hotmail, etc.
2) Superbad list would be just like the bad list EXCEPT they would be automatically deleted (an option you can do for the blacklist, but again, I don't want to automatically delete all blacklisted emails). Emails added to the list would be ones I chose (just like the blacklist). This would primarily be used for really bad spammers that no good emails come from (like the spam domains that exist solely for spam it seems).
Hope that clears any confusion.

so what you want isn't a black list, it is a several shades of gray list!
All kidding aside, I'd like the ability to set delete options on an entry by entry level in the blacklist. _________________ Questions? Try the wiki
