I was looking for office alternatives today and stumbled across this cool product: "Software602 LanSuite"

Very slick; click the link for the "5 user free version".
I dont think this would be very practical in an enterprise environment but it's great for home use.

I'm using the LanSuite primarily as a mail server but I'd like to see if it could be used in combination with Proxo; this thing seems extremely customizable.

I've opened about 50 documents so far that were created in MS Office and no problems so far.
