Hi All,
I am new at this and have been having a problem with this "ISEARCH" toolbar in my IE page. When I go to click it off in the view dropdown, the tollbars are all shadowed out. I had downloaded Limewire and had this problem since. I have since rid myself of Limewire and Kazaa, but now how can I get rid of this "ISEARCH" toolbar? Thx.

Go here
http://toolbar.isearch.com/uninstall/
After installing the iSearch Toolbar my toolbars are locked. Help!
Don't worry. If you would prefer to maintain control of your Internet Explorer toolbar it's as easy as downloading this file, selecting "Open", and selecting "Yes" when asked if you would like to merge the data. After doing this, close internet explorer and re-open it.
Version 1.1 - Automatic Removal
If you have recently downloaded the iSearch Toolbar, you may quickly, easily, and automatically remove it by clicking here and downloading the uninstaller for the most recent version.
When prompted, click "Open" and allow the automated toolbar remover to remove the iSearch Toolbar.
Version .9 - Automatic Removal
If you receive errors when using the above method, you may have installed an older version of the iSearch Toolbar. In that case, try removing the toolbar by clicking here and downloading the removal software for the older version.
When prompted, click "Open" and allow the automated toolbar remover to remove the iSearch Toolbar.
Version 1.1 - Manual Removal
If you receive errors after trying both of the above methods, or if you simply prefer to manually remove the software, the following instructions will aid you in doing so.
You will need to close all open windows and all open applications prior to following the next steps. Please copy and paste these steps, or print them out before proceeding.
Click "Start" in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Select "Run" from the menu that appears.
Type "Command" (without the quotes) in the "Run" dialog.
In the new window that has appeared:
•If you are using Windows XP, type "cd c:\windows\system32" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
•If you are using Windows 95/98/ME, type "cd c:\windows\system" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
•If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows NT, type "cd c:\winnt\system32" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
If you have installed Windows on a different drive (e.g. d or directory (e.g. c:\windows2) then you will need to type the appropriate drive letter and/or directory above.
In the same window
•If you are using Windows 95/98/ME , type "regsvr /u /s toolbar.dll" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
•If you are using Windows NT/2000/XP , type "regsvr32 /u /s toolbar.dll" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
In the same window type "del toolbar.dll" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
In the same window type "exit" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key.
The command window should now be closed and the iSearch toolbar has been permanently removed from your system. You can open a new Internet Explorer browser to test the successful removal. _________________ Alan E Scher

Thanks for the advice. I have removed the "ISEARCH" Toolbar. Only that now, the toolbars are still shadowed and I can not access them. I have been trying to view my Yahoo campanion toolbar, but it will not show however, it is checked off in the shadow...

DaHAWK,
Do suggest you follow advice given by lilliebet65 and stick with same. The problems you are experiencing often leave behind undesirable remnants that an apparently simple removal will leave behind.
Kazaa itself leaves all manner of junk and spyware, so there is no telling what else you may have lurking there.
Only the submissal of an HJT log will reveal all. Forewarned is forearmed!!
