I've tried to install and run Spyware Blaster multiple times but everytime I get an error message saying that the program was damaged during installation possibly because of a damaged sector on the hard disc or a virus. I've run disk defrag and disk cleanup and done a complete scan with Norton Antivrus... still get the same results. The start up program loads but when it attempts to open I get the same error message everytime. Any ideas?

did you try un-installing it and downloading it fresh and then updating and running it again?
it really sounds like you need a first responder , and if you get one they are probably going to ask you to download and unzip into it's own folder on "C" drive the program called hijackthis and then post a log of it in the hijackthis forum and wait for someone to review it.

Hi Pschypilot,
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=26534

Please note that these fixes are sometimes fairly complex, so if you aren't comfortable following them, you shouldn't attempt them.
