I have poorly taken care of my computer and its finally caught up to me. I started off trying to clean it up by getting rid of ezula and other such annoyances. However in the process of doing this I have created more problems for myself. I think I have downloaded some more programs like ezula, I still have the casprog problem that i have read that several other people have but i still seem unable to get rid of, I am pretty certain i have deleted several files that are necessary for my computer to run properly, and i know get a message everytime i reboot that says "windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2 1%:2% (i tried microsofts solution but that too did not work). Is there anyway to fix my computer or would i be better off throwing it out the window.

go to the Hijack This Forum in the Forum list, then click 'New Topic'

Then:
Download 'Hijack This!'. http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe
Save it in a convenient permanent folder such as C:\HJT\, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into your post- also notify them the name of the trojan you mentioned. [i]Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet. [i]
