it does that to me to
it does it all the time in XP even when im not on internet and when i do nothing

it just goes like two runtime 5 error windows [hexanumber] and when i close both then two other pop back on

The same happens with me, i tried the trojan hunter and it found and cleaned alot of backdoor trojans, and viruses, but i am still havin the same problem

I had the same problem, it was being caused by a virus, cleaned up the virus (norton only detected part of the virus so it was reoccuring) and now its all fixed. Just incase its the same virus this is what i had:

Cleaned up, but iexplore.exe still having problems.
Thinking to fdrive, any suggestions??
