Yeah. Hotlinking is not allowed. That's why copying and pasting is necessary.
What could be the problem with Windows?

Are you sure you uninstalled the game with success? If you havn't go to your control panel and remove it from the add/remove program list, and then reboot your computer. If the problem still contain, go to Start > Run > type in 'dxdiag' and run the scan... (on graphics) Too see if it finds anything wrong, if your drivers are out-of-date you might need to update them from your graphic card manufactor. Also, what DirectX are you using on your Windows 98, older PC's have a wire to use old DirectX versions. _________________ Proud CastleCops Sergeant

DirectX 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902).

Every tab says that no problems were found.

I restored backup-registery that was backed up before the problem came to be. No luck. The problem is still here.
If the registery won't do it, what will?

Hi Sonnyrizo,
First off, what was the game that you installed/uninstalled?
Also, give us some info in the brand of video adapter and monitor you are running.
I noticed in the screen shots that your have the desktop to run as webpage. Have you tried turning it off?
