A VERY STRANGE DREAM,TOO.

ANYONE ELSE HAVE THOSE KINDS OF DREAMS ???

Dreams are an interesting phenomenon. In one instance they can be a clear vision from God for the things to come. Profetic if you will... and these dreams can prove to be a very powerful reminder that God is in control and that He is gracious and magnificent.

On the other hand, dreams (in the scientific world) are nothing more than "RAM DUMPS" of the mind. A way for the mind to clear itself of all the nastiness it encounters throughout the day.

On some occasions, dreams are sometimes a way the mind "prepares" itself for the possibilities of life. For example, say you have a dream about your Father dying (purely hypothetical) and you feel really poorly when you wake up, or you wake crying, that is a pretty good indication that your subconscience exposed your conscience to the idea and the emotional termoil that you may or may not ever face.

With all this said, it is difficult to determine the difference between them. Dreams are very complicated, and can be very destructive if you let them wander to other's ears and hearts. It is something that should be handled with care. Perhaps the wife got very upset when you told her because God did not want you to tell her.

In any case, dreams are very wonderous, but very destructive as well. Dream interpretation is not for the timid or over confident. (NOT to say you are by any means) but it should be handled with care, and with God's direction as well.

I will be totally honest with you, I am only a baby in Christ. I've been a Christian all my life (thanks to my Father) but only recently (8 months ago) have I begun my OWN journey to learn about God and to have my own personal relationship with Him. In the past few years, as far as I remember I've had very little dreams. I remember a few times that it almost seemed like I had a dream that would happen, and it doesn't.

So to sum it all up, I don't believe so... but my Father, who is very spiritual, and very profetic has AMAZING dreams of this sort, and they are very very accurate. Most spectacular thing I've ever seen, so I can relate to how you feel, and what it means when it comes true. I am greatful to have the honor of discussing these things with you first hand, it is a true gift from God.

I am rather attached to the Computer Cops name...but can understand their desire for a theme...I had wondered what the "Moat" was all about...duh...I need to get out more...what an isolate...even on this site ...but you have to admit there is a certain charm in "slaying the dragon"...

The lobsta's are safe when I go home...I can't bring myself to eat those that "clean" the oceans... I had a "vision" once...of guys wearing cement boots, resting at the bottom of the sea...that was the end of my lobsta eatin' days...ah...you are what you eat? Hehe...still curious about that dream must be nose trouble...
