I went to the Grisoft Site... downloaded their AVG 6 Free Edition.. and then moved the installation to a separate folder... opened it and clicked on setup, only to receive a error that said it couldn't find SHELL.DLL, and then gave me another error message that said "Cannot find file C:\Progra~1\wtv\setup.exe (or one of its components)."
I have no idea of how to fix this... could any of you guys give me a hand? I would really appreciate it

SHELL.DLL is an important Windows System file. If this file is missing or corrupted, then this is due to a Trojan/Virus.

Please go to HouseCall Free Online Virus Scanner
and run the online virus scan. Please select the Autoclean option when prompted.

Housecall will remove viruses and many trojans.

After you get cleaned up you will need to replace your shell.dll file.
