We are not interested in which ones are the best overall. Wink

We would like to know what you like to play, having had actual experience playing them? What are you playing now?

Do you have any games that you like to play more than once?
Let's face it, with the costs of new games you want something with playability.

List your all time favorites too if you like. Very Happy

Some of you might find these to be a bit "dated," but I have an old PC I use for games so cannot play much more until I install new hdw stuff. Wink

Besides puzzle games I have enjoyed many FPS and RPGs. All-time favorites are:

Delta Force (any number)
Deus Ex
Half-Life (and spinoffs like Blue Shift and Opposing Force)
Dungeon Keeper 2
Tachyon: The Fringe
Legacy of Time: The Journeyman Project 3
King's Quest: Mask Of Eternity
Final Fantasy 7 & 8
Parasite Eve
Duke Nukem: Atomic, Time to Kill, Land of the Babes.

With FF7 it took me six tries and two hours of game playing time to take out Ruby Dragon. Actually, I considered the Emerald Dragon to be harder because its Air Tam Strike really kicked butt. Spent most turns doing healings and applying Hero. Wink

If you need help with FF7 secrets, gimme a shout. Every time I have played this game I learn something new. Though graphically out of date, I like this game for its varieties of activities and actions. They remembered when they made it that games need to be fun. Wink

I started playing Delta Force Black Hawk Down when it first came out. This game has such a hold on me that I don't play anything else. The on-line experience began with Delta Force Land Warrior and just kept going from there. Never got out of the Novalogic series. Don't want to. A buddy told me of Rainbow Six, how much better it was but I can't pull myself out of BHD.

As a big retro fan I like all the old stuff, Asteroids, Missile Command, Rally-X, Dig Dug. Basically what I played in the arcades in the 70s and 80s. Like Crystal Castles featuring Bentley Bear Exclamation

I'm a big RPG fan and have found Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind to be one of the best. I loved the flexibility of character creation and the variability in quest selection that allowed for many hours of play. I'm really looking forward to the fourth edition in the series due to be released in a couple years.

Some of my fav's are the Ultima's, Might & Magics, and almost any of the interactive fiction titles out there (Kyrandia, Syberia, Broken Sword, etc)

Man, where have I been. Did not even know this forum was up Sad

I am a Return to Castle Wolfenstein junkie myself. Been playing for several years and participated in competative league play before starting my new job. Too much time away from home to keep my skillz sharp. Stop by our clan site if you like http://www.damageclan.com/

I also play a little COD, but still prefer Wolf. I am waiting for my free copy of HL2 to arrive, but it has not yet. Until then I will continue to spend my off time attached to my computer playing my faithful RTCW.

Hi parputt,

It all started with a thread in our All Staff Forum. The suggestion was made to include a forum for games? It was agreed and the rest is still getting started, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Wink

I like games like RTCW because you can play them again and again with lots of variations. The Delta Force Series is like that. I never follow the laid out GPS coordinates they give you. Great way to get killed. I always give my team orders to stay put and stay outta my way at first, then I let them mop up. (They always start shooting before I am ready and then the bullets really fly.) The enemy can shoot through walls and mountains but you can't.

I have to play retro games because my PC is retro. Wink What they may lack in graphics, they make up in action and strategy.

I have quite a few games, because I am a 1337 gamer with 8 fans and a GeForce 6800 inside my comptuer. The only stupid thing about my computer is the 250W power supply, but hey, who can upgrade a Dell anyways?

Here's the picture of games I have:

My favourites have to be Command & Conquer Generals ('cept the CD's busted) and Unreal Tounrnament (GOTY as a preference). I've over a hundred games in all...haven't even played some of them!
